Twitter switches from TinyURL to Bit..Ly

I just spotted this morning, that Twitter is now using Bit.Ly as it's URL shortner, rather than, I wonder does the extra 5 letters make all the difference, or is there some other reason?

So, at the moment, is the cheapest. They claim the domain is for free, but
you have to 'buy' a DNS server package for 13.47 euros per year, the year after they charge 15.47 euros.

But still, I guess after 3 years, might be cheaper by a few cents though.
